Philosophy of Tai Chi is Yin and Yang. Yin and Yang are contradictory community in a dynamic system.  In Chinese traditional medicine theory, balanced Yin and Yang is a key to remain people healthy. Tai Chi fluid movements can adjust these by prompting energy circulation, such as, moving up and down, breathing in and out.  A common symptom, pain, in Chinese traditional medicine, was explained that Qi is not move well, meridian was blocked by weakness of Qi circulation. Researchers found Tai Chi exercises can prevent so many kind of diseases, and improve some symptoms.

There are 5 styles of Tai Chi

There are 5 styles of Tai Chi in China. Chen, Yang, Wu/Hao, Wu and Sun. Chen style is the oldest one, the other 4 styles was developed from Chen style.  Chen style was originated from Chenjiagou in Henan, China. The easier one and more popular one is Yang style.  

How to Start Tai Chi?

To gradually build a strong foundation, we are going to start our initial lessons with basic Tai Chi warm up and skills:Tai Chi Warm Up and Basics, Tai Chi 13 movements  and Yang style Tai Chi 24 form. We will begin learning step by step, one by one.

All in all, Tai Chi is a very beneficial exercise for everybody regardless of age and gender. With its easy forms, it can be learned in person, and also it can be learned totally online as well. I sincerely hope everyone enjoy Tai Chi.
